BBB names new board for 2013

Steve White, Berkeley Inc.

Steve White, with Berkeley Inc., will take over as chairman of the board for the Better Business Bureau, replacing Intermountain Gas vice president Scott Madison.

White is chief financial officer with Boise-based Berkeley Inc., an RIA with $158 million in assets under management and 3 advisers nationwide.

White is an honors finance graduate from the University of Georgia, and is a CFA charter holder. He earned his MBA from the Harvard Business School. He has 19 years experience in the industry, including investment management, investment banking and finance consulting. He joined Berkeley Inc. in 2003.

The Better Business Bureau serving the Snake River Region offers consumers and businesses resources including business and charity reviews, complaints, mitigation and resolution. The BBB states its purpose is to act as a mutually trusted intermediary between consumers and businesses to resolve disputes, to aid communication, and to offer information on ethical business practices.  It lists accredited business from Ontario, Ore., to Jackson Hole, Wyo.
